Winning limit is a function available to the System Administrator to set the condition of how many auctions a person can win per day or per month and the duration as to when the person can bid again. Once the limit is reached, the account is locked out until the next day or next number of days. An automated email will be sent the customer by the system to inform of such restriction. This is a good tool to use on expensive item(s) and it's a way of ensuring the fairness for customers. Expedite Timer

Expedite Timer is a function available to the System Administrator to set the condition of which allows and encourages customers to bid early and to not have to wait for the last minute to bid in order to win. Meaning, as long as it reaches the minimum price or the thresh hold price set by the Admin, the auction will be kicked into Expedite Timer and the last bidder will win regardless of how much time remains. The Expedite Timer is set by the System Admin and it is usually anywhere in 1 to 59 minutes. The Expedite Timer hides the actual timer so the customer does not know when it is going to end. This forces the customer to bid in order to win. This is a good tool to encourage your customers to bid early because the auctioned item can be gone anytime and in turn it helps you deliver more auctions. Auto Bid

This tool allows your customers to participate in auto bid (auto pilot) set by you, the Site Administrator. Two variable constraints or conditions included in the Auto Bid - Starting Price and Max Number of Bids. Starting Price is when the customer wants the Auto Bid to start and the Max Number of Bids is the max number of bids the customer is willing to spend on the auction. This is a very popular tool for many site owners. However, it is the most often misused tool where site owner created fictitious accounts and used the auto bid function to bid against other players. Buy Now Reward

Reverse Price Auction (Dutch Auction)

Reverse Price Auction or is also known as “Dutch Auction” where the price is going down as bidders submitted their bids instead of going up as most traditional auctions are. This type of auction is often used by those in search of a lowest price offered for a service or for an item. For an example, I have a driveway that is 5000 feet long and I need snow removal service during the winter here in Michigan. I decided to auctioned this service to the lowest bidder. I invited 5 companies to bid for this project. The auction started out with $2,000. Company A submitted a bid and it reduced the price down to $1,999 (assuming $1 decrement set by the site admin), then company B submitted a bid against company A and it reduced to $1,998 and so on until it reached the price that no other company wanted it. The last bidder won the contract.

Traditional Auction

Our company is known for Penny Auction platform. However, we also do have “Traditional Auction” platform. The most distinguished character that differentiate the “penny auction” vs. the “traditional” auction is that in penny auction you have to pay to play while the traditional auction you only have to pay when you won the item. In the penny auction, the site owner can let go of an item at the 95% off the retail price (discounted) and may still make a profit on it since he or she also made money on selling the bid-packs or bidding tokens. For the bidders, there are more risks in penny auction but the reward is much bigger while in traditional auction is less risk but the reward is usually smaller.

Bidder Limit

Bidder Limit allows you as the site owner the option to set a limit on how many people can bid on an auction. This gives the bidder the incentive to join on the bidding early on before it reached the limit. It also gives the bidder a better chance to win since they don’t have to compete with an unlimited or large crowd of bidders. This Bidder Limit option is available at the individual auction’s setting. Meaning that with auction A, you can set it to 50 people limit. However, with auction B; you can set it to 100 people limit. It’s all depending on how you calculate profit cost ratio or projection of bidder’s willingness to pay for the item. Once, it reached its limit or threshold, any new bidder attempted to join will receive a denial message “Sorry! This auction has reached its Bidder Limit (the maximum number of people allowed to bid) on this auction.

Early Bird Bidder Discount

EBBD gives the site owner the option to set multiple bid cost pricing levels based on time entry of a bidder. For an example, during the first 15 minutes; it only costs the bidder 1 bid to bid on an item per each submission of a bidding. However, after 15 minutes it costs 2 bids to bid. The main goal behind this multi-pricing strategy is that to encourage bidder to participate the bidding early instead of waiting for the last minutes as most typical penny auction bidders.
